Minimizing Paper Waste and Forest Impact

We’re making changes to how we distribute our conference supplies. CAIMUN is going green.

At each annual session, we print several thousand notepads, folders, pens, handbooks, placards, nametags, maps, and other conference supplies. Thousands of sheets of paper end up wasted and thrown away, even if they could’ve been replaced by a convenient digital alternative.

At CAIMUN 2025, we’ll be mitigating our carbon footprint, forest impact, and paper waste by minimizing the number of printed materials we provide at the conference.

Only a limited number of printed Delegate Handbooks will be made available — mostly for Chaperones and certain delegates on an accessibility and need-related basis.

In lieu of a printed handbook, a digital copy of the Delegate Handbook is available for download as a PDF file on this webpage, using the button below. We encourage all of CAIMUN’s attendees to review the handbook before the conference, and download it for use during the event.
