Derek Li — Director
Erik ten Hag, the greatest manager in football history, once stated: “eras come to an end.” Though Derek’s era in the world of Model UN draws to a close, he hopes to end it with a bang as the Director of the Historical Crisis Committee at CAIMUN 2025. A senior at St. George’s School, this arduous journey has encompassed hours of debate, thousands of directives written, millions of words of nonsense spoken, and countless stairs climbed. Without a doubt, however, the real gavels won have been the friends made along the way, friends who Derek will cherish for life. Outside the committee room, Derek does very little with his life other than neglect his studies, watch football, and smash buzzers with the force of a thousand suns. Derek is beyond excited to meet each and every delegate and transform the halls of the Sheraton Wall Centre into the back rooms of the Kremlin.

Clare Wang — Assistant Director
A senior at York House School, Clare is honored to serve as the Assistant Director of the Historical Crisis Committee at CAIMUN 2025. Since attending her first conference in Grade 9, Clare has grown to appreciate the intimidating atmosphere of the committee room, developing a strong interest for the world of diplomacy. From the sleepless nights to the valuable friendships made, Clare will forever cherish the unforgettable memories fostered by this unique activity. Outside of Model UN, Clare can be found scrolling endlessly on her phone, finding and watching random documentaries, or attempting to be productive. Clare looks forward to meeting everyone at CAIMUN 2025 and wishes all delegates the best of luck!

Bella Wang — Assistant Director
A senior at York House School, Bella is beyond adjectives such as thrilled, ecstatic, or honoured to serve as the Assistant Director of HCC at CAIMUN 2025. From wearing a borrowed pair of dress pants and blazer to owning a closet full of Western Business Attire, Bella has grown from feeling incompetent to being self-proclaimed overconfident. Since starting MUN in Grade 9, she has made life-changing memories at each conference, including climbing thirty-four flights of stairs, running back to the hotel halfway through dinner, and making unexpected friendships. During her harsh battles against the real world, she can be found drinking coffee at midnight, making revelations at 4am, and deciding to sleep at 7am. Bella wishes that each delegate has an unforgettable time at CAIMUN 2025 and looks forward to meeting everyone!

Justin Bao Chair
Currently a senior at St. George's School, Justin is ecstatic to serve as Chair of the Historical Crisis Committee at CAIMUN 2025. Ever since his first Model UN conference in 2020 as a quiet and confused delegate, the organic flow of debate from the committee room has enraptured him. From orchestrating bankruptcy in JCC to arguing against Caesar in the Roman Senate, MUN has undoubtedly become an integral pillar of his highschool experience. For him, it has been synonymous with the growth of his passion in global events, diplomacy, and sociology, as well as being a place to build connections with others. Outside of the committee room, one can find Justin racking his brain on math problems, endlessly waiting in line for the ski lift, and attempting to write literature of questionable quality. Justin eagerly awaits a weekend of amazing debate and diplomacy at CAIMUN!
